18 Night Cruise sailing from Rome to Athens aboard Crystal Symphony.

Begin this voyage of la dolce vita with an overnight in Sorrento, city of stunning views and sumptuous food. Sail up next to Amalfi, then a sea day to Crotone, set on the tip of Italy’s boot. Corfu, Kotor and Split offer crystal clear waters and beautiful beaches, before arrival in Fusina, gateway to Venice, for three days of getting lost in the city’s labyrinthine waterways. Sail south to Croatia’s Zadar and Dubrovnik, then its kalimera Greece with sunset stops in Igoumenitza, Katakolon, Monemvasia and Spetses before arrival in Athens for an overnight prior to disembarking.

The island is steeped in history, and played a pivotal role in Greece`s struggle for independence, notably on the September 8, 1822. The island`s skilled sailors and ships, including the powerful warship "Agios Nikolaos," participated in the naval engagement against the Ottoman fleet in the Saronic Gulf.
