Cruise Description

12 Night cruise sailing from Athens roundtrip onboard Crystal Symphony.

A roundtrip from Athens that takes in the beauty of the Eastern Mediterranean, starting in Athens with its wealth of classical history. Head for Patmos and Kudasi to unwind on beautiful beaches before an overnight in the cosmopolitan Israeli town of Haifa near the holy city of Nazareth. Enjoy a relaxing day at sea then return to Greece for the picturesque Rhodes, Agios Nikolaos, Santorini, and Mykonos before ending in Athens.

Highlights of this cruise:

Athens
Venture through Greece’s largest port city, Piraeus, as you make your way to the cradle of Western culture and the birthplace of democracy. Athens, among the world`s oldest cities with a history spanning 3,400 years, has long been the location of myth and muse, and its ancient heritage is still an incredible source of inspiration. Here, the Acropolis crowns the city as home to the Parthenon and other legendary temples and monuments.

Kusadasi
A lovely seaside resort town on the Aegean coast, Kusadasi is famous for sparkling waters, sandy beaches and enticing shops filled with designer clothing and hand-woven carpets and leather goods. More than these modern trappings, it is the gateway to Ephesus – the UNESCO-listed, 4,000 year old city – as well as the Temple of Artemis (one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World), Basilica of St. John, and House of the Virgin Mary.

Paphos
This seaside town in the southwest of the island of Cyprus is a captivating place of sun and hospitality. Paphos is home to numerous archeological sites and charming sandy beaches, but also has an active nightlife. Enjoy the contrasts of this unique place of culture and entertainment.

Mykonos
Mykonos, a former 18th-century pirates` bastion, is now a sophisticated and cosmopolitan island resort. This quintessential Greek island offers a maze of winding streets, graceful windmills, inviting beaches, domed churches and whitewashed houses accented in blue. Dotting the waterfront are cafés, taverns and tempting shops. Guests may spend the day exploring the island independently. Feel free to investigate its fine boutiques and pleasant, labyrinthine streets.
